A Brief Overview
For the most part, the events documented here happened outside of the immediate vicinity of Witton Park. They are, however, relevant, as the area in which the park is situated comes within the sphere of influence of the events portrayed in this research.
Either way, one can only hope that the reader finds this work interesting and helpful in learning a little about the history of this region, whether it be the west of Blackburn or East Lancashire as a whole.
