This website was originally designed, planed and mapped out in 1998/1999 and has took some 21 years and 8 sets of designs which all except the first set were never published to get the site thus far and well at long last! In 2019 with the first real version of the website up on the World Wide Web.

You will no doubt have noticed that this website is one of very few websites on the internet that covers Witton Country Park and Pleasington in depth. Also exploring the fascinating ruins and the beautiful wildlife of the park and all other nature including fungi.

This web site was designed and created by Tony Booth, a local history enthusiast, amateur mycologist and keen amateur photographer, who enjoys walking and discovering the local vicinity.
